Group Insurance Scheme / Probationer Scheme
The Federation Group Insurance Probationer Scheme has ceased and has been replaced as at April 1st 2010 by extending to Student Officers the full range of benefits available under our Full Member Scheme.
The cost to student officers of this Full package is
Weeks 1 to 52 of service FREE OF CHARGE Weeks 53 to 104 of service £13.80 (2010)
On completion of this period of employment your subscription will automatically be increased to the Full Member scheme rate of £23.60 (2010) per pay period.
You will have been given the opportunity to join the scheme on recruitment, if you chose not to do so you can still join now you will need to complete an Application Form and a Late Entrant Health Declaration (see Member Scheme for documents) and return them to The Federation Office as soon as possible.
