How we raise funds - with your help

Our funds come mainly from the Charity trust monthly Lottery (click here for more info on the Lottery- insert link to Lottery page) and from the high profile annual charity dinner (click here for more info on the Dinner- insert link to Charity dinner page) which celebrated its 45th successful year in 2023, for which we must thank our business partners and local business support.

The Charity dinner attended by over 200 guests each year has grown considerable and in 2024 we are seeking additional support to maximise funds raised and support more people and good causes across Merseyside. Check out the Charity Dinner page here for information (insert link to Charity Dinner page. The staff of the Merseyside Police Federation work extremely hard throughout the year to bring this event together, which has become increasingly popular and successful in raising funds for our nominated charities which vary from year to year.

We also receive one off donations from officers who we have supported and through Will's and legacies, we can support you in this, find out more about leaving a legacy to Merseyside Police Federation Charitable Trust here.

In past years, working with PIPS Programmes, the Trust has been lucky to have been awarded £9,600 from the Big Lottery Fund via the National Lottery which was used to deliver mental health and suicide risk awareness training to local reps, members, staff at local schools and community groups. Major issues which are extremely relevant today.

Our Charitable Trust is dedicated to providing for the community of Merseyside.
